Golden Isles Reports More Than $70 Million in New Investment as Brunswick-Glynn Growth Accelerates

BRUNSWICK, Ga. Brunswick and Glynn County are closing out a year of economic-development activity that stretches well beyond tourism.
The Golden Isles Development Authority says its Fiscal Year 2026 results include more than $70 million in new investment, about 90 new jobs and five local business expansions.
The authority also highlighted new industrial-site work, logistics projects and a $1 million initiative aimed at local entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Growth is showing up in several different forms
Among the year's milestones were the continued development of Mallard Industrial Park, designation of the Georgia Breakbulk Logistics Park as a CSX Select Site and the launch of Elevate Glynn, a $1 million initiative supporting local business and entrepreneurship.
Projects that opened after years of development work included Amazon's delivery station and PROponents' 500,000-square-foot facility at Tradewinds Technology Park.

The Golden Isles economy is more than the beach
Tourism remains central to the region's identity, but Brunswick also sits inside a major Georgia logistics corridor with access to Interstate 95, rail, the Port of Brunswick and industrial sites positioned for distribution and manufacturing.
That makes business expansion in Glynn County part of a larger statewide economic story.
