Dwight Howard Relists His Suwanee Mega-Mansion for $14.5 Million
The Atlanta native’s 26,000-plus-square-foot estate is back on the market at a substantially higher asking price.
Dwight Howard is asking considerably more for his Suwanee estate the second time around.
The Atlanta native and longtime NBA star has relisted the sprawling property for $14.5 million, more than $3 million above its previous asking price.
Howard bought the estate for about $8.8 million in 2016, the same year he signed with the Atlanta Hawks. It was later listed for approximately $11.25 million in January 2025.
The new asking price puts the property about $5.7 million above what Howard originally paid.
A massive Suwanee estate
The home spans more than 26,000 square feet and sits on roughly 14 acres.
According to Realtor.com, the property includes 12 bedrooms, multiple kitchens, a theater, game and billiards spaces, a podcast room, salon and barber areas, a sauna and a separate two-story fitness pavilion.
The grounds include a saltwater pool, an orchard, a lake and multiple guest accommodations.
One of the property’s more unusual features is an underground passage connecting parts of the estate.
The Georgia connection runs deeper than the address
Howard is not simply an NBA player who happens to own a Georgia mansion.
He was born in Atlanta, attended Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy and became one of the most prominent basketball players to come out of the city before going directly to the NBA as the No. 1 overall pick in 2004.
His purchase of the Suwanee property in 2016 coincided with a return home when he joined the Atlanta Hawks.
That makes the listing part luxury-real-estate story and part Atlanta sports story.
A much higher second asking price
The relisting is notable because the asking price moved sharply upward rather than downward.
Luxury homes can be difficult to compare because size, land, amenities and customization vary dramatically from one property to another. A home of this scale is not competing with the typical Suwanee listing.
The new $14.5 million price signals a bet that the estate’s size, privacy and one-of-a-kind features can command a premium despite its earlier time on the market.
